Stupid Customer Tricks

posted Tuesday, 14 October 2003

Husband and I were shopping at Zellers a few weeks ago (basically the Canadian K-Mart, only worse) and he went up to the customer service desk to get something. He was quite a long time and it turned out
that the problem, relayed by the clerk, was that the person ahead of him had been trying to use a Sears gift card. Not a big deal, really, but from the delay it seems like they were really trying to use it. What more than "I'm sorry, that's only good at Sears. We're Zellers." do you need?

And in snack food news, we've discovered microwaveable pistachios that roast right in the bag. We are struck dumb by such snack ingenuity. They are excellent. http://www.keenanpistachio.com/html/micshipper.html
