A nice librarian moment

Last Tuesday, a young woman asked me if I knew any good books. She didn't have anything in particular that she liked and said she'd read just about anything, she hadn't had time to read after having her baby and now she was starting again. So I recommended two of my favourite authors, Sophie Kinsella and Marian Keyes. We happened to have handy paperback copies of Undomestic Goddess and Anybody Out There. She took them both and came in on 2 days later, saying she loved my recommendation, she literally hadn't been able to put Undomestic Goddess down and was already finished, so she'd brought it back and was taking out Can You Keep a Secret? which is my very favourite Kinsella book. Yay!
