It wasn't meant to be erotic...

My office is REALLY messy. Most children's librarians I know have messy offices. While most of our puppets and programming supplies are stored in another office, I have my own collection of puppets and quite a few teddy bears (I have a particular song about 5 teddies that I like to use, so I need at least 5 on call). My manager always looks completely uncomfortable in my office and I don't blame her - it's chaotic to the casual viewer and it's usually really cold because I'm always hot. But the other day she came in to talk to me and she kept casting glances over my shoulder. Finally, she couldn't stand it any more and said "That looks really weird, your teddy bears." As I turned, she added, "It's quite rude, actually." Because I'm so small, I'd just tossed one of the bears on top of the pile on the highest shelf. It had landed face down, bottom facing out, on top of another bear. Yes, I had humping teddies in my office. I had to move him before she could continue telling me what she'd come in to talk about!
