Here I am, back at work. And what a start to the day - on my way in, I slipped on the sidewalk next door and fell flat out on a patch of black ice. Ouch. I knew it was a bad idea to come back to work. :) And then we discovered that our manager had taken all of our ice melter for her other branch, because she couldn't get hold of maintenance. So we've had to send one of the circ girls out in her car with petty cash to try and find some.
Otherwise, the ol' place is the same. I've just gone through several dozen e-mails that piled up while I was gone, but, amazingly, there are no phone messages, which was nice. I'm not big on phoning people. So, back to the daily grind. I hope I don't get any weird patron stories for you today, though, I've had enough excitement with the falling down.
